This pictograph of the owl, mountain goat and deer can be found in the Stein Valley Nlaka’pamux Heritage Park near Lytton BC, my hometown and land of my ancestors. These pictographs can be dated back to 1800-1860! They were made by mixing ochre and water. It is said that my ancestors drew these after a spiritual dream.
Approximate measurements: 10cm long 3cm wide.
